Nichola Morton Photography
All the professional photos you see on our home screen are shots by Nichola Morton and as you can tell she is absolutely ace! Not only is she the band’s dedicated photographer but she was also had the pleasure of photographing our lead guitarist Mike’s wedding back in December 2014. Her style is so refreshing, coming at everything from an interesting and creative perspective. She is based in Lancashire but does travel, so be sure to check out her awesome site.
Electric Blue Photography & Film is the ultimate in informal, quirky and awesomely alternative wedding photography. Highly professional and with bags of experience, we have had the pleasure of working alongside Charlotte on many a wedding day, including our lead singers’ back in Spring 2022!
Mark Dolby is another great photographer who captures natural and authentic shots at weddings. He is based in Leeds but travels all over. We’ve worked together at weddings before and he is a real top bloke.
Stuart Millership Video Production
Stu is a freelance cameraman and videographer who captures a range of events both corporate and private all year round. He came out with us to a wedding back when we launched in 2015 to create our first ‘Meet The Band’ video (featured on this site’s Home page and Wedding page) and was excellent to work with. We were so chuffed with the result, we entrusted him to shoot our follow up video (again featured on the Home page and Events page) and were not disappointed! WEDDING VENUES
The Mill Barns is a stunning purpose-built barn wedding venue that has it all! Boasting a picture-perfect waterfront and set in delightful Shropshire countryside, we have taken to the stage here (and at sister venues Foxtail Barns, Pendrell Hall and The Ashes Barn) to entertain wedding parties on numerous occasions. Ran by dedicated and award winning teams, these venues really are something different.
Deer Park Hall is a truly breathtaking spot! A grade II listed building nestled away in the Cotswolds, the grounds of the hall boast stunning views across the Worcestershire countryside and (as the name suggests) actual roaming deer. If that wasn’t enough, the oak panelled hall provides a great space for the evening entertainment too!
Shustoke Farm Barns is another fantastic venue we have had the pleasure of working with many times. Our most recent visit was to perform at Sarah and Rohan’s wedding. Part of the Cripps & Co portfolio of luxury wedding venues (including Thorpe Garden and The Tithe Barn) that include their own state of the art Funktion-One in house sound systems.
Once a working cotton spinning mill, The West Mill is now a top Derbyshire wedding venue. Situated on the bank of the striking river Derwent, the setting is both charming and out of the ordinary. Spread over four dedicated and spacious floors, the first floor is where the evening party kicks off amid a ‘Cavern Club’ like blend of brick walls and low arched ceilings. This picture from a recent performance there really sums it up – great fun!!
South Farm is a one of a kind, bespoke wedding venue boasting an eco-friendly approach and a real attention to detail. From the ‘Old Dairy’ to the ‘Horse Barn’, the buildings have been lovingly repurposed into a truly unique wedding venue with grounds & gardens to match.
We mentioned our lead singer Andy Farmer’s wedding earlier: this was held at Standford Farm in Spring 2022. A fourth generation family owned farm, the venue has won multiple wedding industry awards and you can see why! Delightfully rustic with a summer festival in the fields vibe, it’s a wedding venue dreams are made of, and naturally we couldn’t resist providing the evening music to compliment the day!!
